Tablet use penetrations are much lower than smartphones in many developed countries in Europe, according to Deloitte’s Global Mobile Consumer Survey. In 2013, the 42 percent of people in the Netherlands used tablets, the highest number in Europe, while Spain followed with 39 percent; the United Kingdom with 36 percent; and Belgium and France each with 30 percent, according to the study.
