When comparing smartphone penetrations in some European countries, Spain comes out on top with 69 percent; followed by the UK, 62 percent; the Netherlands, 59 percent; Portugal, 56 percent; Germany, 55 percent; France, 52 percent; Finland, 51 percent; Russia, 41 percent; and Belgium, 39 percent. The Deloitte survey was administered in mid-2013, and penetrations for smartphones and tablets continue to surge as time goes on.
