Some countries tend to embrace some tablet operating systems more than others. Countries with the highest penetrations of Android tablets include Poland and Indonesia, 80 percent each; Brazil and India, 72 percent each; the Philippines, 68 percent; and Russia, 67 percent. Countries with the highest penetrations of iOS tablets including Japan, 55 percent; Singapore, 53 percent; and Australia, 51 percent. Countries with the highest penetrations of Windows 8 tablets include Thailand, Mexico, India, Vietnam and Saudi Arabia, all with penetrations of less than 10 percent.
