Time Spent on Mobile Surpasses PC


eMarketer’s “Video Content Roundup” for Q4 2014 explored the amount of total time spent on video per device per day, and found U.S. adults spent an average of 55 minutes a day watching video on online and mobile devices, led by 33 minutes watching video on mobile devices, including tablets and smartphones; and 22 minutes on desktop devices and Internet connected television.

When video consumption is broken down by mobile device, U.S. adults spent 13 minutes per day viewing videos on their smartphones and 20 minutes a day on viewing videos on their tablets, according to the study.
