Lists and Stories Lead as Most Popular News Content Format


According to the Reuters Institute’s “Digital News Report 2014,” the percentage of users accessing different types of content each week paints a picture of a dominant text-based content usage, followed by video/audio, pictures/graphics use. Weekly video use is particularly dominant in the United States with 34 percent of the users accessing news video each week, followed by Spain, 33 percent; Brazil, 32 percent; Italy, 31 percent; and Finland, 23 percent.
